Nottingham Open 2010
This year the Nottingham Debating Union proudly invites you to speak at the *only* Style British Parliamentary Debating Competition in the WORLD. It gives you the opportunity to show off your stylistic merit in addition to the standard debate judging we have become accustomed to.
For those who are unsure of what “style means” Rhydian Morgan, former CA of the Nottingham style IV shares his thoughts here
You will be treated to classic Nottingham hospitality; a strong adjudication team equip to deal with the nature of this tournament and a well run tournament.

Round 2 announced: 12.00pm- 1.45pm
Lunch (not provided): 1.45pm- 2.00pm
Round 3 announced: 2.00pm- 4.00pm

Venue: Main Entrance, Trent Building, University Park Campus.
You are strongly advised to take a taxi from the station (unless you like 45 minute walks, or buses that don’t take you to the Campus) which can be caught outside the train station and cost around £5 and will take no more than 10 minutes
The nearest airport is East Midland’s airport (Which is actually in Nottingham) You can catch a cab which will cost around £25, or alternatively catch the “Skylink” which is £8 for a return that will take you to the Nottingham rail station (which you can catch a cab from) in under 30 minutes.
